Support
Humo is made by one person in the Netherlands. If something is broken, confusing, or missing, please write — messages are read by the person who builds the app.
Email: hello@humo.health Privacy and data requests: privacy@humo.health
We aim to reply within a few working days.
When reporting a problem, it helps to include your device model, your iOS version, the app version (iOS Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Humo), and what you were doing when it happened. Please do not send screenshots containing health information you would rather keep private — a description is usually enough.
Common questions
Where is my data kept? On your phone. Your Apple Health data, calendar, reminders, and every answer you give stay on your device and are never sent to us. What we hold is your login, a record of your privacy choices, and any routines you write yourself. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
How do I stop Humo using my calendar or health data? Settings → Privacy. Each one can be turned off separately, and it takes effect immediately. You can also revoke permission in the iOS Settings app; Humo will show that it has been turned off there.
How do I get a copy of my data? Settings → Privacy → Save a Copy of My Data. The file is put together on your phone, so it contains what you actually have rather than only what we hold. It tells you what is included and what is not.
How do I delete my account? Settings → Manage Account → Delete Account. This removes your account and your data from our systems and clears Humo's data from your phone. It cannot be undone.
Does deleting my account cancel my subscription? No — and neither does deleting the app. Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device.
I paid but Humo says I am not subscribed. Open the subscription screen in Humo and tap Restore Purchases. If that does not work, check you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with, then email us.
I lost my phone. Can you restore my history? Usually not, and we would rather be straight about it. Because your health, calendar and reflection data never reach us, we have no copy to restore. Routines you created do sync and will come back when you sign in. If you exported your data beforehand, you still have that file.
Is Humo a medical app? No. Humo is a general wellness app. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent anything, and it is not a substitute for professional advice. If you are worried about your health, please speak to a qualified professional. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services.
Which questionnaires does Humo use? Some reflections are adapted from published research questionnaires; others we wrote ourselves. Either way the results are for self-awareness, not diagnosis.
What age is Humo for? 16 and over.
Your privacy rights
You can export your data and delete your account yourself in the app, and those take effect immediately.
For anything else — correcting information, restricting or objecting to how we use it, asking what we hold, or if you no longer have the app installed — email privacy@humo.health.
We will respond within one month. If a request is complicated we may need up to two further months, and we will tell you within the first month if that happens. There is no charge.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), or to the authority in your own country.
